It Wouldn’t Be A Morning Without An Argument

My daughter made me so angry this morning! Then again, it is like any other morning. She argues with me about everything! She argues with me about her breakfast, what I am packing for her lunch, even what she is going to wear…now get this, the child wears a uniform, but somehow, there is still an argument about what to wear! By 8:oo a.m. I am spent! I have bargained, pleaded, yelled, threatened, and even cried before we even head out of the door.

Today, the arguing was out of control. I was so mad at her. I looked at her and calmly announced today was Crazy Hair Day at school! “Don’t forget to make your hair all crazy!

“Can I spray glitter in it?” she asked.

“Of Course!” I said.

“Should I tease it all up and do one pony tail up high and the other braided low?” she was so excited!

“You bet! Oh, and how about a bunchof those baby barretts you wore when you were little! You could win the Crazy Hair Day first place certificate!” I was getting excited too!

Oh, the poor kid, the one time she chooses to listen to me….and I was lying….

THERE IS NO CRAZY HAIR DAY AT SCHOOL !!!! There IS however, some bratty little girl looking like the tortured doll from the bottom of the toy chest who is locked in a bathroom stall, desperately trying to get that hair under control!

Now and then when I am feeling a little down, I take out the photos of Crazy Hair Day!
