My Latest Photo Shoot

Monday, October 13th, 2008

iconI had some new photos taken last week. I went with a photographer named Melinda Kelley. She was fantastic! I loved every minute of it. And that’s coming from someone who hates to have her photo taken! Anyway, I thought I would put them up so people can see her work… and my new head shots!

Cops, Bad Boys, Whatcha Gonna Do?

Friday, June 6th, 2008

Ok, I will admit it, Cops is one of my favorite shows! I love watching cops! Now, it seems like there are two types of cops. One type of cop loves to run after the perp, tackle him to the ground, push his face into the grass and yell out his Miranda rights into the ear that is not full of dirt and blood!

Internet Bullies And Their Comments

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

Against my better judgment I read some of the comments posted on some blogs about my recent performance on Style’s Clean House. These posts are never good! I even know for a fact they are generated by weird fan clubs who are freakishly faithful to the shows, which is just weird, but still, the words hurt.

Strike! Am I ready?

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

So the writer’s went on strike. I do support their reasons for striking and hope they come to terms soon, especially because this will set the template for the contracts to be negotiated for the screen actors guild, of which I am a member.

Now the actors may go on strike in June.

EMMY

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

The show I host on PBS, A Place of Our Own, was nominated for a daytime emmy, under the category of most informative talk show. It is up against Tyra and Dr. Phil. I am so very proud of the show and must tell you that there was so much work that went into that. We shot five shows in one day and the topics can be very intricate. We did alot of good work on that show. The show content educates families with children aged four and under.

I did 3 seasons of the show and launched it into national viewership. It is an amazing feeling to take a show from it’s pilot stage at the reginal level to a show that is broadcast nationally and is the winner of the very prestigious Peabody Award. Now it has been nominated for a National Daytime emmy.

It truly is an honor to be a part of this wonderful accolade!
